Made in Elkins, West Virginia this plant uses almost 100% Oak to make their pellets. These pellets produce a low ash that performs best in a pellet appliance with a lot of air flow. The Elkins pellet is less that a half percent of ash content which the Pellet Fuels Institute refers to as a "ultra premium" pellet.
